Strawberry Hayride Tour
Groups of 10 persons or more may book a strawberry, red raspberry or sweet corn picking tour. Included: A hayride around the farm to pick the fruit (or sweet corn) of the season, a visit to the petting zoo (hand washing station nearby), and a strawberry shortcake or other dessert. For more information, scroll down. We will be taking reservations for 2007 beginning in November 2006. You may purchase U-Pick or already picked (please call to order at 614-878-7980) raspberries without booking a tour. Just drop by the market when in season.

Bakery In the summer months, feel free during your visit to Circle S Farms to grab a treat at our in-store bakery. The Pickin' Patch Bakery offers many delicious seasonal specialties. You won't want to leave the farm without trying a soothing strawberry shortcake, made with either our own pound cake or biscuit shortcake. We have many varieties of cookies, pastries, muffins, pound cakes, fruit scones, specialty breads and raisin bars. These are available throughout the summer at the Circle S Farms Market and weekly at the Grove City Farmer's Market. In October, we will be running FULL FORCE with delicious treats: pies, pastries, cookies (pumpkin cookies) of all kinds, brownies, and let's not forget our famous Circle S Farms' donuts!
The Circle S Farms Market offers a variety of products besides produce. We manufacture and sell over 100 food products made here at the farm including: cheeseball and dip mixes, dressing mixes, fruit spreads, homemade preserves and fruit butters, herbal vinegars, mustards, salsas and other hard to find specialty items. Other products are: prepared gift baskets, adult sun bonnets, beautiful harvest jewelry made by Dusenberry (strawberries, pumpkins, farm), bath products, baskets, crocks, and more. Farmers Market Every Saturday from July 8 to September 9, from 8:00 a.m. to noon, we will once again be at the Farmers Market in Grove City. We will be in our usual spot, in front of the Little Theatre. We will be offering delicious favorites from the farm including: sweet corn, tomatoes, melons, baked sweets and breads, jams, preserves, mustards, dip and cheese ball mixes and more. Hours of Operation Our summer store hours vary slightly depending on the season, weather and demand. Weekdays we are open 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., weekends open 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Hours may vary between harvesting seasons-please contact us before coming to the farm), starting in strawberry season. Group Tours
At Circle S Farms, we focus on bringing you the highest quality in produce, fruit, gourmet foods and customer service. Since 1975 Circle S Farms has taken great pride in producing the finest strawberries for the Central Ohio area. This year we continue that tradition by providing the most flavorful strawberries, sweet corn and red raspberries-for those who like to pick their own fruits or participate in a special group tour.
Organized groups interested in visiting the farm may choose to schedule a strawberry farm tour from May 28 through June 22...or later, depending on harvest. Sweet corn tours from July 25-August 25 and red raspberry tours from August 5 through September 25 (These dates may vary slightly according to growing times-see bulletin board for more concise information nearer to that date). Our tours are designed for both children and adults. As always, we welcome groups with special needs and interests. Guests wanting to have lunch at the farm are encouraged to bring sack lunches and enjoy a meal at the farm.
Each person that participates in Circle S Farms' "Buckeye Berry" tour enjoys a hayride around the farm and visit to the petting zoo. Each person is entitled to a regular sized strawberry shortcake with cream topping (or dessert of the season), and because of popular demand, each person can harvest their own pint of berries or half a dozen ears of delicious sweet corn.
Senior citizens or any group not able to pick their own berries can call ahead to have already picked ready for them. Additional strawberries will be available by (1)You pick strawberries or red raspberries on a per pound basis, or (2) purchasing ready-picked strawberries or red raspberries by pints, quarts or flats.

PRICING: Our price for group weekday Summer (some exception sapply). 2006 Summer Tours are $6 per person including all activities. The groups must be 10 or more persons. For every 25 children, there will be one chaperone admitted free. Reservations are required. This is the first price increase we have had in over 6 years, but due to overwhelming costs, we found it was necessary. To make a reservation for a Summer Group Tour, please call us at 614-878-7980. You may now make your Summer reservations online. The 2006 dates are from May 29 through September 25 (no tour crops between around June 25 through July 24-approximately-please call about these dates at 614-878-7980). The time of the season will depend on the crops that are ripe. Weather also makes a difference in the type of crops available to pick. Group reservations are for weekdays only, some exceptions apply (please call us (614-878-7980) if you want a weekend group tour to see if we can accomodate). Not all fields in the contact form below are required.
We must have a Group/Company name (can be a last name), Date, Time, Number of persons above 2 years old (Daycare centers must pay for those under 2 years old-call for details), Address, Contact Person, Phone Number, Email address, and Time of arrival. You will receive a confirmation by either email or regular mail. PLEASE contact us with any changes or cancellations. The price per person is $6, which includes everything mentioned above. During the month of August, please...in the Comments section mention whether you would rather pick red raspberries or sweet corn. We are trying this way of making reservations for your convenience for Summer tours. If it is a success, which we feel it will be, we may try doing daytime reservations for our Fall Fun Days daytime group tours.
