FALL FUN DAYS HARVEST FESTIVAL: This October 2008, we would like to invite your school, church, company, organization, scout troop or family to the farm for a celebration of fall harvest and enjoy a beautiful day in the country. Circle S Farms is family owned and operated and we look forward to sharing our farm with you each year. A visit to Circle S Farms is a special experience for those who rarely have contact with crop production and the agriculture community.
HOURS OF OPERATION: During October, the farm opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 7:00 p.m. Our hayrides start at 9:00 a.m. and run until dusk.
GROUP FARM TOURS: These tours make great field trips for youth organizations, school age children, day care facilities, senior citizens, boy or girl scout troops or groups with special needs. All groups (10 or more peeople) should call ahead to make reservations at 614-878-7980. Weekday group admission includes hayride, pumpkin, donut and apple juice, corn and sunflower mazes, bale cave, and petting zoo.
CANCELLATIONS: Please, if your group cannot make it to the farm on your scheduled date or you need to reschedule, we would appreciate it if you will phone us and notify us that you are not coming.
HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE: A wheelchair ramp is available for our hayride wagons. Let us know ahead so we may make arrangements for your group. We welcome seeing eye dogs. Handicapped parking in west lot (placard required).
ATTENTION TEACHERS AND EMPLOYERS: We are happy to announce a faster way to check in at the farm. If you have a purchase order, follow these three simple steps.
(1) Complete the form with the number of students and parents and SIGN IT.
(2) Fax it to 614-878-1860 at least two days prior to your trip.
(3) When your group leader checks in at the farm, all we will need is the amount in your group and a signature.
To help promote and educate agriculture in the classroom, Circle S Farms offers each teacher an educational packet. This packet includes information about the different activities on the farm and history of crops grown and fun activities to do with the students. You may download the sheets you wish to use at the top of this page or let us know and we will have a packet for you.
Keep this in mind when you plan your trip to the farm: Bring your camera! There are great scenes for pictures. We have fall decorations to purchase. On Saturday and Sundays, we also have the Pumpkin Café, bakery and gourmet food sampling.
PETS are not permitted on the farm except for service animals.
SMOKING: Circle S Farms is a "smoke-free" area and smoking is strictly prohibited on the grounds during Fall Fun Days. Although we are an outdoor event, there is dry straw and corn shocks. This policy is strictly enforced. Thank you for your understanding.
